Inside:

Now that the canoe was off the molds I also could see how big it really was.

After the smooth outside the inside looked like the surface of the moon. Tricky on the inside was that I couldn't get to all the places with the random orbit sander or with the mouse sander. A lot of scraping before starting to sand also seemed to work for me here. At the stems there was a lot of handwork needed because it tends to get very narrow.

I taped of the outside of the canoe before I went on with the epoxy adventure on the inside. This way the resin couldn't run and harden on the outside of the hull.

Getting the cloth nice and smooth on the inside was not an easy job. I shortened it about 1" from the stern because I had to trim it anyway because of the inner stern. This way I could get the cloth in pretty well.

On the outside I didn't have any trouble with air bubbles. However on the inside this was a completely different story. It didn't matter how long I used the squeegee.......................... the bubbles kept coming back at some points of the hull. With the next canoe I will first put in one coat of resin without the cloth and then put the cloth in the second coat.
